Ali İsmail - Who gave the order?
Ali Ismail Korkmaz was not the victim of a random attack by four police officers and four civilians, but of an organized violence that started on May 31, 2013 in Eskişehir and ended on June 3. It was seen from the defendants' defense that they were conservative and nationalist. But more importantly, they were inspired by the prime minister of the time and worked under his protection and encouragement. For this reason, the accused police officer Mevlüt Saldogan had the courage to say in court, "If Gezi was a coup, I suppressed the coup." The civilians who set a trap for Ali Ismail were part of the crowd that Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, "We can barely keep fifty percent of them at home." In this book, Ismail Saymaz, one of Turkey's most successful journalists, examines in detail, with the meticulousness of a detective, the chain of events that led to the death of Ali Ismail, whose only "crime" was running away from police violence, and the organization created to cover up this murder. "Who gave the order?" It shows that we should look for the answer to the question in the power and mentality that puts the "enemy criminal law" into effect.
