Akşamları Kalbim
Trakl, who lived his short life in manic-depressive extremes, is one of the most important names of the expressionism movement in the German language. Although they are interpreted as strikingly visual paintings dominated by dark colors, Trakl's poems with enigmatic content are dark in the broad sense of the word. The fact that he does not give direct recipients to enter his poetry connects his name with the definition of “pure poetry”; His metaphors, which trace unique autobiographical elements, are not decipherable on their own. However, while this pure poetry targets its own self, it does not give up searching for the other, the possibility of otherness within itself. This excavation will take the poet back to the darkness of the pain he experiences again and again, to the agony of existence.
“I felt the most terrible possibilities within me, smelled them, touched them, and listened to the evil spirits in my blood and the howling of a thousand demons whose provocations drove the body crazy. What a terrible nightmare!” The unrepeatable poetry of a field of experience in which the processed word is the mirror of terrifying inner abysses, which is "inaccessible" for others and "seems to exist only for oneself", as Rilke wrote after the poet's tragic death.
