Trying to explain the period that we call "68s", which influenced the entire 20th century, and thinking of reflecting its meaning through an exhibition, a publication, or a ceremony is an impossible dream... Can you make a sculpture out of wind? There is a fact: Today's new generation knows very little about the 68's. This publication wanted to examine a large period of time, from the May 27 Revolution and the execution of Menderes, Zorlu and Polatkan to the execution of Gezmiş, Aslan and Inan in 1972. He allowed the Earth to rotate for two more days after May 6, and accepted Inönü's resignation on May 8, 1972 as the last point of this period. What was 68? How did this youth movement, which gained mass and social support at an unprecedented level in Turkey, become disconnected from the masses and marginalized? The role of those behind the scenes, the soldiers and the rulers... The "officials" who were brought into the movement... The role of the USA and the idealists it used, who attempted to destroy 68...
