1925 Movement Azadi Society
The 1925 Movement has been talked about a lot among Kurds verbally since it took place, lamentations were made for those who lost their lives, and mourning was held for those who lost their lives, and the lamentations of the dengbêj regarding the event always left a sense of national resistance and ownership in those who listened. This incident, which is talked about a lot verbally among Kurds, has unfortunately not been examined much in writing.
When others wrote about this movement, they both interpreted it as arbitrary and portrayed it as a local rebellion, distancing it from the national character.
So much so that the Kurds could not even name the Movement. All these efforts were to cover up the organized and planned movement behind the incident.
Tahsin Sever tries to reveal the 'invisible people' in this work, based on both oral and written documents.
