It is known that those with a biased, ideological approach, both in Turkey and abroad, look at the issue one-sidedly and ignore the other side of the coin. How did the deportation imposed by the Ottoman Empire in 1915 come about? While Armenians were the most reliable citizens of the Ottoman Empire, how did they form terrorist organizations in line with the policies of Western states and Russia? And most importantly, what was the Ottoman Empire's attitude towards Armenian organizations in the events before 1915 and what kind of approach was shown to the Armenians involved in the events? Knowing all this correctly will provide a more realistic approach to the Armenian problem. Trabzon is one of the cities with an important strategy in the Armenian events. Because it is considered as the port city of Armenia, which is planned to be established in Eastern Anatolia, opening to the sea. For this reason, the actions carried out by Armenians in this city and its surroundings are quite intense. This book has a quality that reveals the approach of the Ottoman Empire towards the Armenians who committed assassinations and illegal actions, and shows how those who participated in the events were tried in the Ottoman courts as a state of law. In addition, this book also shows the attitude and attitude of the Armenian community towards the events. In particular, the fact that the Armenians reveal the trial phases day by day through court minutes gives an idea about the functioning of the Ottoman legal system.
